Installation for the control box for this job site involved drilling into the parapet and placing anchors, and then bolting the unit to the anchors. The sun shroud comes already attached to the control box. For the Pan/Tilt/Camera (P/T/C) unit, we took a wall mount (Pelco WM200) and mounted it vertically (instead of the usual horizontal "arm" mount) making a solid, pedestal-type mount for the P/T/C unit. We used 4 stainless bolts to attach the P/T/C unit to the horizontal plate of the wall mount. Electrical connections require only 24 VAC and a telephone (and/or network) connection. 24 VAC can be brought out following low voltage wiring codes, or if 110 VAC is available, then an outdoor 24 VAC transformer can be mounted next to the control box. At this installation, 110V was available in the job trailer so we placed the 24VAC transformer in the job trailer and ran 2 wires for the 24 VAC and 2 wires for the telephone line 400 feet from the trailer to the roof top where the camera is located.
